Bocelli's 2009 Vintage The 2009 Bocelli's Gold is a dry, crisp white wine. It is made from the Frontenac Gris grape which gives the wine honey and citrus notes with a great refreshing finish. The 2009 Bocelli's Gold would be great paired with a spicy chicken BBQ or your favorite fish and chips recipe! This wine would also work great mixed with fruit and soda to make a white sangria! |
Marquette 2009 Vintage Marquette, a light red wine, made from the Marquette grape grown at Homestead Prairie Vineyard near Crete. The Marquette grape is a newly released grape hybrid grown in the midwest and in cooler climates. Our 2009 Marquette vintage shows great promise and has a strong cherry note with a nice balance of tartness and tannin. This wine can be enjoyed with a great steak or a lighter meat such as pork. If you are a Pinot Noir lover you've got to try this one! |

| White Sangria · 1 Bottle dry fruity white wine (Bocelli's Gold or Capitol View WunderRosa) · 1/4 cup white rum · 24 oz. Lemon lime soda · 1 Lime, thinly sliced into disks about 1/4 of an inch thick · 1 Lemon, thinly sliced into disks about 1/4 of an inch thick Optional Garnishes · 1 Pint fresh cherries (Bings are the best) · 1 Pint fresh strawberries Fill a large pitcher half full with ice. Add lemon and lime slices, white wine, rum and lemon lime soda. Stir, pour into a glass and garnish with strawberries and fresh cherries. |
